Almond Crusted Alaskan Pollock

  • 400 g pollock
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 5 g butter
  • 15 g flour
  • 52 g breadcrumbs
  • 38 g almond slices
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 52 ml milk
  • 20 ml water
  • 80 ml cream
  • 50 g shredded mozzarella


  1. Heat the oven to 200°C and place the pollock to an oven dish. Add some lemon juice, salt and black pepper. Bake for 15 minutes in the oven.

  2. In a pan melt the butter, add the wet ingredients (milk, water, cream) and also the cheese. Mix until the cheese has melted. Add the rest ingredients, breadcrumbs, flour, chili and paprika powder.

  3. Lastly add the almond slices (you can save some of them to garnish). Also you can add other spices to your liking. If the mixture is too stiff, you can add some water.

  4. When the mixture is ready, cover the fish with the mixture. Bake in the oven for other 30 minutes and enjoy!
