First of all, let’s dive into the subject itself. Vision board is a visual tool that you can use to focus on and specify your goals. It’s collage of different photos, quotes or things that you are inspired by and things that you’re trying to achieve. It is a great reminder of what you’re working towards for.
How to start?
First of all, start clipping things from magazines, save or bookmark images, posts, quotes, e.g. Pinterest posts, Instagram etc. that inspires you. You should decide if you’re making a physical board on the wall or perhaps a digital collage that you can set as a wallpaper to your phone or computer or maybe you want to do both. If you decide to do an actual board, think about where you’re going to put the vision board and buy a frame and/or paper to that size. Also Pinterest itself is a great platform to create a vision board.
For actually assembling the vision board, I have read that what ever you want to concentrate on the most you could place it to the center of the board. There’s also some instructions that suggests that there’s actual placements for different topics, but I don’t think that’s relevant. Last year I placed the photos quite randomly. You can read more in-depth article of the vision board in the Law of attraction’s site.
Most important thing is that this is for you and your dreams and goals. Whatever you decide to put on to the board should be something that you really want and desire in life. Life hack for reusing the vision boards – if you haven’t met your goal yet, you can keep the item on the board and just replace the items that you have already achieved or you want to change to something else.
