I wanted to gather some holiday gift ideas, that are quick, simple and affordable. The Holiday season is quite hectic and maybe also stressful for some and also people tend to purchase and invest on different things and preparations for the Holidays. For me the last few weeks have been very busy and I have been buying gifts, made gingerbread cookies, eggnog and other Christmas confections and also decorated the apartment for the season.
Bath tray for those that have or enjoy baths. Shower oils, face masks, feet masks or baths.
Good headphones for listening music e.g. Sony WH1000XM2 noise cancelling headphones.
Mason jar mix which are jars with ingredients for e.g. cookies, brownies, bread or other. You can buy these from the store, but you can also make these yourself and decorate the jar with ribbon, labels, stickers and other.
Best-seller books, e-books, cook books, style books, subscription for a magazine. You can buy books from thrift shops that are essential, I would look for well-known books with hard-covers and no stickers or other visible notes on them.
Fine jewelry which are silver, gold or other quality material. You can find these from a jeweler, Amazon, Etsy or from department stores.
My personal favorite is to do gift bag filled with items that the receiver would like. For example tea assortments, chocolate, nuts, jam, cookies, socks, gloves, mugs, ornaments, candles, coffee, makeup, fragrance and other little nick-nacks.
Tickets to the theater or gift card for the theater so that the person can chose themself what to see. (Or to the movies, concerts or other events.)
Smaller home appliances like water kettle, coffee machine, coffee bean grinder with coffee beans, essential oil diffuser and essential oils to go with it or humidifier. Or you could also buy cooking gadgets.
A good wine or mulled wine with mulled wine mix (e.g. raisins and almond slices) or mulled wine mugs.
These are some ideas for gifts. For me at least the thought counts, I don’t need extravagant gifts from others. What would you add to this list? Have you prepared for the Holiday season? Comment below! 😊
